January & Me

Monday, January 3- I am paired up to play basketball against a girl who's dad was in the NBA.
Really.

If you've ever seen me play basketball . . . You'll understand why I'm not going to go into details.

Wednesday, January 5- The first complete read through of Oklahoma!, in which I learn my first and only line . . . and promptly forget it the next day. Though, I could probably learn it right before my stage cue. It's a very short line.

Thursday, January 6-

BROOKLYNN: Have you noticed people are sitting different places in the lunch room now?

ME: Yes I have.

BROOKLYNN: It's like, some people stopped caring about where they sit.

ME: I know.

BROOKLYNN: Lauren.

ME: Yeah?

BROOKLYNN: You know that has nothing to do with you, right?

ME: Fine.

Monday, January 10- I score a basket in Gym. The very fact that this made a January & Me post should be enough to clue you in on exactly how terrible I am at basketball. People actually cheered- everyone knew it would go down in the record books, as the first and undoubtedly last basket made by Lauren Finlinson. Ever.

  1. Congrats on the basket! :) I love your blog... your post are so creative. I'll have to try the clique experiment at my school sometime.
