March was full of blenders and sand dunes.
RUBE GOLDBERG PROJECT
The first video is a school project (I didn't have THAT much time to kill), filmed in St. George over Spring Break. I had a disgusting eye infection, which is why there's a lot of my back pockets in this video and not my swelled-shut eyes. It was tricky enough to make a machine in the garage. I pity the kids that went on cruises for vacation.
THE GOOD LOOKIN' CHAP
IN THE SAND DUNES
The second video was filmed in the sand dunes of Snow Canyon. If the park rangers knew about this, they would probably stop arresting kids for riding scooters and have my head for copyright or something. It stars the ingenious Woodmansees, who came to St. George with us. They came up with absolutely everything except the dorky music. Come to think of it, they could probably split my head with the park rangers if they wanted.
But Spring Break has come and gone, and with it, all the wonderful hours to kill by editing movies. I now have a real internet connection, and a very fat book to read for English.
P. S. Yes, both the videos come with the same annoying soundtrack. I have a very limited music library, I'm not one of you cool guys with Macs.
These are utterly fantastic and amazing. I love to watch them over and over. Nice nice work.
ReplyDeleteSeriously - the movies look great and obviously your eyes couldn't have been that bad if you were able to put that machine together. At least that's what I think. And hello - I love your new blog look. What a great template.
ReplyDeleteCool machine and awesome movies. I think you have a future in movie making. You could write, direct, produce and star in every film!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think I saw Anna toward the end of the machine movie. I hope she doesn't hit you up for royalties.
Lauren I do love this new looking blog you have. I do not know about Hunger Games but I know someone who does. This is Jason Bench who was born the same year, the same month as you, June 17 is his birthday. He is in the 7th grade and lives in Boise, Idaho. He is your second cousin and his e-mail address is ballinbench@hotmail.com. He loves playing basketball and just finished reading Hunger Games. Thought maybe you might want to e-mail him and ask him about it. I will keep checking your blog so I can stay on top of your world, if that is even possible. Love you much, Grandma
ReplyDeleteLauren, I made a mistake. You spell Jayson's name with a Y. I think that is pretty important. I think he would love to hear from you and chat back and forth, just an idea.
